Steam loco Ravenshoe to Tumoulin One and a half hours return trip Departure: Ravenshoe Railway Station This regular steam train run leaves Ravenshoe’s station, pulling its historic carriages through open bushland and across trestle bridges for the little siding of Tumoulin, at 960m (3160ft), the highest railway station in Queensland.
Ravenshoe is famous for its timber industry, and during WWII was a importing training camp for many soldiers before embarking for the Pacific war.
